How it Works

Head over to the Contact page and fill out the Project Request Form to get in touch with us. If you have any photos of either the piece that you’d like restored/reupholstered or inspiration for the custom redesign, please send them to us via email at makosfurniture@gmail.com.
Once we receive your request, we’ll work on providing you with ballpark pricing and timeline.
Select Your Design.
After you receive the pricing and timeline for your piece of custom furniture, and you decide to move forward, we’ll set up a time to meet with you to go over the design for your custom piece or select fabrics for reupholstery.
A 20% deposit is required before any fabric or lumbar is ordered for your piece of custom furniture. Estimates are good for 30 days.

What kind of furniture do you upholster?
We upholster a wide variety of residential and commercial furniture for both indoor and outdoor spaces! We can update anything from antique furniture and midcentury modern heirloom pieces to couches, dining room chairs, window seat cushions, patio furniture... and just about everything in between!
How much does furniture upholstery cost?

How long does custom reupholstery take?
The amount of time it takes depends on our current project plan and the amount of work involved. We can provide you a timeline when you are ready to get started and will keep in touch with you throughout the process.
Where do I find fabric and leather?
We can work together to select the appropriate upholstery material and browse the many sample books in our showroom to find the perfect style. We work with several trusted fabric suppliers and stand by their quality, durability, and warranty.
Can I buy my own fabric?
You are welcome to purchase your own fabric with the understanding that we are not liable for defects or warranty claims for fabric we do not supply. We ask that you bring it in ahead of time so we can confirm the material is appropriate for the piece.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
Yes, we offer pickup and delivery for an additional charge.

What if I don’t know exactly what I want?
We start by asking you to send inspiration photos, and from there, we work with you to understand your vision and measure your space. We then design the piece and create a CAD rendering using AutoDesk Fusion360, so you can truly see your piece of custom furniture come to life. And, as always, you’re able to make adjustments each step of the way.
